Call For Volunteers

Planning and events scheduling is under way for this year’s camp out and we are looking for volunteers to share their knowledge and talent with the community!

Here are a few things you can get involved with:

  • Do you have an activity, workshop or discussion group you are just itching to lead? In the past we have had workshops on everything from divination, to star gazing, to meditations, to rituals with the elements, and everything in between.

  • Every year we have a temple dedicated to Aphrodite and Pan. We are seeking volunteers to help set up, decorate and maintain this sacred space for the weekend. A pop-up tent and some supplies are on hand, but you will need to round up a few odds and ends and make it a place to worship the gods in.

  • We have decided to ask for volunteers to run our opening and closing rituals this year. This group will bless the space, welcome the gods and elements in on Thursday and close the space out on Sunday.

  • Main ritual is the highlight of the weekend and again we are reaching out to the community for volunteers. The ritual is typically community-themed and friendly to all ages.

If you or your group are up to the challenge of any of these, we would love to hear from you!

Please send us a message and we will get right back to you!

Date Change

We have some unfortunate news to share..

Due to a mix up in communication we have had to move the camp out dates.

Pagans On The Rock Camp Out 2017 will now be from Thursday July 13th to Sunday 16th.

We understand that this is going to be a pain for some people and may break plans for others, but unfortunately it was unavoidable.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the the mix up and we hope it doesn’t wreak plans for you.

However, with a little bad news comes some good news!

*Registration rates have come down!  The rental price at Nanaimo Lakes is actually about the same as Bright Angel, but we have MUCH more room and the hope is we can bring in more campers to off set the lower registration fees.

*RV’s are welcome and we have loads of room for them

*Pets are welcome (dogs must still be on a leash)

*Much more private – no more Joe Public wandering through the camp

2017 Camp Out Location Change

Hi everyone!

For the last couple years we have had suggestions of moving the camp to another location, and after doing some digging and research we have decided our best option is the Nanaimo Lakes group camp.

Those who have been with us a long time will remember that we got our start at Nanaimo Lakes, and with recent changes and upgrades at the camp we are looking forward to giving the site another go.

Some of the benefits to Nanaimo Lakes is it’s much cheaper (and that will directly apparent in your registration fees), more private, more room and lot’s of space for RV’s.

We will be posting more details soon, but at least you have this little tidbit to keep your curiosity at bay.

Kam.

Rituals and Workshops

Over the next couple of weeks we will be putting the finishing touches on our schedule of events for the weekend. We are especially looking forward to the wonderful ritual and spiritual experiences that will presented by local coven House of the Crossroads.

The coven members have been working hard to put together the weekends rituals and everyone is very excited to see the results of that hard work.

However,  no community event is complete without putting in a little energy and flavor from others.

We are calling out to anyone that can contribute to the weekend by presenting a workshop or hosting a discussion group.

Workshops discussion groups need not be intensive, only have  be an hour or so in length and can be any topic that is of interest to the Pagan world in general.

If you would like to contribute your energy and knowledge please get in touch with us! We would love to hear from you!
