FAQ’s

Q: What time can we get in to the camp on Thursday?

A: The grounds open at 2PM on Thursday.

 

Q: Cell Phones

A: We are way out of cell coverage area and your phone wont work, regardless of what carrier you are with. The nearest coverage is approximately 20 minutes back towards Nanaimo near the intersection of Nanaimo River Road and South Forks Road.

 

Q: What do we need to bring?

A: Everything you would need for any camp out. All supplies, equipment and food is the responsibility of the attendee.

 

Q: Do I need to participate in the potluck on Saturday?

A: Not at all. We understand that some people have special diatary needs and that’s just fine.

 

Q: What about smokers?

A: Smoking in the general camp area in not permitted and a designated smoking area will be set up.

 

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Yes, but with the following restrictions. While Dogs are permitted at the camp out ,we require that they be on a leash at ALL TIMES. In addition to the leash regulation, we require that only well behaved and socialised dogs be permitted and the maximum length of a leash be no more than 6 feet. Be prepared to scoop the poop!

 

Q: What happens if I have registered and paid  but can no longer attend?

A: Cancellation and Refund Policy: If cancellation request received before May 15th: %100 Refund If cancellation request received before June 1st: %50 Refund If cancellation request received after June 25th: No Refund. Refund requests may take up to 30 days to process.

 

Q: What time do we have to be out of the camp on Sunday?

A:  Everyone must be completely out of the camp ground by 12PM Sunday.
